I wish there were more weekends. Come to think of it, I also wish for a warp zone between Chicago and my living room through which food or people or - better yet - people with food could be sent.
I am excited to meet my newest "niece" or "nephew." I'm betting - publicly - on a 10 pound, 7 oz. boy on March 5th. If I'm right I would like to name the baby and have custody every third weekend. And be his favorite auntie. If I'm wrong I would still like custody every third weekend and favorite auntie status.
I am thankful for a friend who knows that meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and creamed corn will heal all. I am also thankful that said friend tolerates my cell phone ignorance. "Can you hear me now?"
I need to take care of some unfriending on behalf of one of the smartest, prettiest, funniest, most creative, dedicated, and loyal people I know. I know I shouldn't admit this on the Internet, but I would bury a body for her. . . if she asked.
