Project Life: Week 44

Not my greatest photography job. I was thinking I could get by with two albums, but - like you can see - this one is getting pretty full.

Week 44 was my first full week in Madison.

Project Life: Week 43

Love how this week turned out - the colors are super fun.

I have these envelopes in every size. This is the first time I actually used one. It's filled with cards and well wishes from starting my new job.

Project Life: Week 41

I'm still working on my Project Life. I haven't given up. I have everything I need to get started with my 2013 album, and I will get started. I plan to keep plugging away at 2012, though. I'll finish. I know it.

I did figure out a little about what I have done as some motivation.

  • I have 28 weeks completely done. Some of those still need to be photographed and shared here.
  • I have 8 more weeks started. Many of them just need some handwritten journaling. I'll do that this weekend.
  • That means I have 16 weeks to complete. I do have all the "stuff" from those weeks completely organized, marked with dates, and ready to add to my album.

Another little tidbit. . . I've made it almost all the way through 2012 and have only used the weird plaid title card one time. Oddly enough, I really like the way the plaid-inspired week came together. I mixed it with coordinating cards from my Core Kit, Studio Calico's Darling Dear, some washi tape, and a few Ormolu tags.

Project Life: Week 27

It was fun to think about Costa Rica. There was lots of sunshine there.

The week I got back from Costa Rica was also the week the divorce started. There will eventually be some hidden journaling about that. I'm just not ready to write it yet.

Project Life: Week 39

Big apology for the terrible pictures. I leave for work when it's dark. I get back from work when it's dark.

I really like this week. It even has an insert.

The insert is all about fashion. There's been lots of photographing of outfits lately. . . .

I shouldn't have done this, but I just figured out that I need to do four weeks each week to finish 2012 before 2013 starts. I'm determined to not start the new year weeks and weeks behind.

Project LIfe: Week 30

Another blast from the Project Life past. . . I proudly present Week 30: July 23 - 29.

In late July there was sunshine and no work. There were naps and days with nothing to do.

I miss you, July.

Project Life: Week 16

Hello, Week 16. I do realize you happened 27 weeks ago.

In my defense, I did make this a long time ago.

I stared at it for a long time before I finished it. April 22 was the day I moved out of my house. A big week, I guess.

Project Life: Week 37

Hello, Week 37.

We refuse to notice that you actually happened several weeks ago. You were a great week.

You had a job interview and my bestie's birthday.

You look great with paper doilies, grey letters, and some zig-zag washi tape.

Project Life: Week 38

Look - I'm still working on Project Life. There is no way I would have guessed 10 months ago that my life would end up how it has.

How could I ever have guessed my marriage would end?
I didn't realize I wanted a new job.
I wouldn't have imagined I'd be facing a move to a new city.

But, I love that I have pictures and stuff to tell the story - the sad and the happy parts. I might not have something in my album for every week, but I love every week that I do have.

I proudly present Week 38.

The left side.

There's even an insert. See it in there? I used a new page protector and converted a Studio Calico digital brush to a Cameo file and cut it on glitter paper. I rock.
