You have many seasonal commitments, including but not limited to:
- turning beer the world-over green
- hiding extra pots of gold beneath rainbows
- campaigning against Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny for the title of "Most Beloved Seasonal Creature"
- keeping that Lucky Charms hooligan in order (he seems like a most unruly leprechaun)
- coloring the Chicago River green
- spreading the spirit o' the Irish
- fighting your eternal feud with the Keebler Elves
The Shamrock Shake makes me happy - its minty flavor, its cold temperature - it makes me smile.
So, thank you, dear leprechauns, for bringing this small, albeit seasonal, pleasure into my life.
Sincerely Yours,
Babs

Dear Lover of Leprechauns;
I represent Mr. Lucky, or as you aptly call him hooligan. We are saddened by you singling him out from his contemporaries. Mr. Lucky would like to set the record straight.
Mr. Lcuky is a very small, law abiding citizen of Ireland - just like all other leprechauns - despite his portrayal during Saturaday morning cartoons. Many years ago he was in dire need of funds to support his wife and many leprechaunettes. He cautiously signed a contract with General Mills, which gave them the right to his image. An imagine, which at first, was truthful. However, straight-laced leprechauns do not sell cereal. In an attempt to save the company an immense loss of revenue, the higher-ups in advertising at General Mills bent the image to fit their agenda until it no longer represented Mr. Lucky's moral upstanding lifestyle. That has caused serious reprecussions to my client. He has been maligned and defamed against his wishes.
Recently, I have convinced Mr. Lucky to begin fighting for his rights; therefore, a lawsuit is pending. My client will be vindicated.
We know you intended no harm by your comment and we hope that you will help spread the word that Mr. Lucky is not a flighty, pointy- eared imp. Instead, he is a loving father of 29 and grandfather of 46. In his spare time, which there is little, he loves to scrapbook using only the color green. He is a good "man".
Thank you for hearing us out and helping spread the truth. It is truly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Mr. Silly Rabbit
P.S. Yes, I know. Trix are for kids.

Yes...I had too much time on my hands.
